The Economic and Social Database (ESD) is one of the databases that PIDS maintains as part of its policy research strategy and mandate as a repository of economic research information.

In addition, the PIDS-GIS website presents data in a geographical format using full color maps. It includes socio-economic indicators such as Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Unemployment Rate, and Poverty Incidence. Other social indicators like Infant Mortality Rate, Cohort Survival Rate and NEAT/NSAT results are also included. Data for these indicators may be viewed on the national, regional and provincial level.

PIDS also maintains the Socioeconomic Research Portal for the Philippines (SERP-P), the first electronic repository of policy research and information. Users are able to search for policy publications based on author, keyword, publication type, research theme, and year published.

The PIDS Library is the primary depository of all PIDS publications. It contains collections covering the following topics: macroeconomics; international cooperation and international relations; economic and social policy planning; economic condition, research, and systems; institutional framework, including law, politics, and human rights. This library is available to PIDS staff and other researchers from the academy, the government, and the private sector. No membership required, Visitors should present a letter of referral from their respective librarians and register on the attendance before accessing the library materials
